Update on the fire... It was an improperly disposed of, butt, of some kind of ... .A smoking one... Well, that's what the guy on tv said..lol Seriously, I don't like when people just casually toss the cigarette butt out the window of their vehicles...It's very dry here this year.. Another thing I hate, is when semi drivers try to hit my car with their cigarette butt.. No, I'm not imagining it.. It's some kind of sick game with them.. They wait.. and wait.. and just at the right time, when I try to pass.. they huck it out the window to land on the hood of my car.. I have a nice car.. not a garbage bucket... or another thing I hate... when they smoke in front of my house here...They don't even live here....and then leave their cigarette butt on the grass or on the sidewalk.. Who do they think it going to pick that up.. The good fairy??? AI YAI YAI... It's not that i mind the smell of cigarette smoke.. I don't mind it.. I really don't.. but seriously, smoking is bad for you.. so don't smoke.. ok? and Please, make sure your cigarette butt is totally out.. dead.. ..before you drop it in front of anyone's house... That fire was awful.. those people that live there have nothing now.. All their belongings were burned up...How awful for them.. My thoughts and prayers are with them.. STars ps.. I guess I feel strongly about this... Getting off my soap box now... Looking forward to a good year ahead!! Stars_light4U |

It was tragic that so much was lost because of carelessness. I have to say that "when" I smoked, I had an ashtray in my vehicles and even in my suitcase when I flew to the coast. I used them all the time and made sure the butts were totally out. When the wind blows, I'm always picking up neighbors butts off my grass! I am happy to say, I quit November 15th.

I smoke, and with having a construction company also, I have developed a habit of putting my butts in my nail bags, or pockets. None of my help smokes so that is no problem, but I don't want anyone spitting on a concrete floor of any buildings we do either. Sawdust and scraps are part of it but we clean up every evening. Anything worth doing is worth doing right

fire is scary!!!! I remember warching a forest fire threaten our RV, that had our dogs in, and how helpless we felt
