Loneliness

Dang it.

My guest was just a platonic friend, and part of me really missed my privacy and alone time while he was here. But now that I'm home alone and my friend gone... I'm suddenly feeling all sorts of lonely and alone again.

Sucks.

I assume sleep will help a bit. And the popcorn, homemade ice cream and comedies I will be watching in a few minutes.

His leaving somehow loosened a few pieces of duct tape stuck over my heart trying to keep the wind from blowing around inside.

Viva la Ice Cream!

Vanilla if you wondered. And not very great (froze too hard in the container) but... I made it myself.

rabuf: no hot fudge... but I did have caramel and chocolate sauce. and thanks the movies were good.

 That is so very sad but I truly understand how you feel. I feel the separation from my two very best friends. Trying to be optimistic when I say that this is just a smaller part of a big picture from which we can not see from our limited perspective. Just wake up tomorrow and do the next right thing and it will all work out. xoxoxo
