Counting down

My dad's approach to enduring winter in Wisconsin was by counting down to March 1. He figured that if he made it that far he had survived another one. I find myself using this technique myself this year. I'm not sure what is different but I'm really longing for the chance to get on my bicycle or into my Black Friday purchase, a new kayak.

 Granted, I'm not looking forward to cleaning up the backyard which the dog has been using as a bathroom ALL WINTER.
