A short one from the island of the gods! (Or so I've been told..) Hey all! This is my first post based in a new land! Officially I'm gonna be in the wonderful island of Bali for the foreseeable future. We moved here about a week ago and will look for more permanent place to stay, but for all that matters, I'm in Bali! It's been a hell of a last few weeks trying to sort everything out for the move and it's still really messy. The husband got moved to a new position at work a few months ago and has little need for an office back home . Then a good Friend of mine who runs an Airbnb place here has had to go back for awhile to sort out some family business. Long story short, badda bing badda boom we moved out here. The timing couldn't have been worse cos I'm flying back home next week for the spartan race (anyone else joining?). But we had things that needed solving here so here I am. Anyways. I'll try to post a little more when I get my wifi stabilised. Til then, ttfn! |

It has been years since I was in Bali, but when I was there I had a great time. Of course i know there is a difference from being on vacation somewhere and living there. Good luck on your race...have fun, I'm sure you will, those races are a kick in the ass. I'm sure you'll come across more than a few nice asses too(just a little extra motivation).

Bali is amazing ! Went there pretty often when I was living in SG. Already picked up surfing  ? Definitively beats the Spartan race  ! Good luck & enjoy !

It has been years since I was in Bali, but when I was there I had a great time. Of course i know there is a difference from being on vacation somewhere and living there. Good luck on your race...have fun, I'm sure you will, those races are a kick in the ass. I'm sure you'll come across more than a few nice asses too(just a little extra motivation). It's kinda similar with the race. I signed up about two months back and kinda shelved it to the back of my kind. Then a Friend of mine collected my race pack for me and sent me pictures and now I'm getting Super nervous! Also, good suggestion. I'll be sure to check out all the fit, shapely asses on show that day. Might make the race a little more bearable 😉

I already have a few friends living here so that helps, even though they are all in different towns. And yea, it's always never a good time to move, but as you say, we've already plunged 😝 Sorting out a more permanent place to live is a bitch though, but that's also cos we're a little bit particular about it.
