Don't know how long you've been here but in Summer 2016 there was a war over how one blogger posted a legitimate question. It was really about petty jealousy no matter how much the parties involved might deny. Once the holier than thou crowd left so did a number of other bloggers, some good ones, who didn't care or want to be part of the pissing contest. I'm not necessarily against picture posts but when "repetitive pictures" are repetitively posted it gets old fast. And drags the quality down further. The lack of diversity in bloggers (ones who write stuff) and points of view brought the blogs to the point where it is now. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I never get bloggers who post nude photos of others or dirty photos just for attention. That's what Tumblr is for There are still some superb entertaining bloggers on here so it's not all that bad.

Another site I belong to has the same thing. What was once like your favorite bar where everyone knew each other, the flirting, the banter, the wit and welcomed the newbee's. There is still some of that at both place, just a lot less. Like redrocker said, the war of 2016 took it's toll, I almost abandoned ship then.

I used to blog here regularly from 2013-2016. I posted introspective blogs. I I stopped blogging because I got tired of the self-promoting blogs and felt like I was losing brain cells reading a lot of them. I miss some of the old bloggers.

Yep, they were happy days, hours of endless fun and frolics....... Nowadays it's just one long litany of spammers, the same half dozen or so spouting out the same bollox. I believe one of them even creates false profiles to comment on her posts so that she remains at the top of the list that she constantly says she doesn't want to stay on top of. So I suppose we still have that kind of hilarious insanity to smirk at. But aye, it's kinda pish here these days, though there are still some goodies around which make it worth coming back for.
