what is this poll suggesting? ok, any trumper "knows" polls are all "fake news" and nobodys opinion means anything, except theirs. so lets look at their views together, shall we? apparently a significant number oppose biden NOT pardoning trump. lets assume its not those you trumpers call "trump-haters". fair ? so it must be trump SUPPORTERS, also fair ? so then, a significant number of trump supporters are admitting that trump HAS committed a crime or crimes or else why would a pardon even be an issue? lets hear the excuses and blame-game now.  "well only get through this if we work together. if we dont, none of us will" |

I heard talk of Cuomo replacing Biden as Dem candidate. Is there any more on that story? The willingness of so many people to allow themselves to be lied to is a constant source of wonder to me. at a time like this, its good indeed to have friends from what i see, doesnt look like cuomo is interested. seems mostly focused on finishing the job he has now, and rightly so. hes a nyorker, fulfilling his commitment. but its also very late in "the game" to jump in. could cause a lot of partisanship and division among the dems who are already struggling to ally bideners and sandersites. cuomos too classy and practical to want to create that kind of chaos at a time like this. ironically, just the kind of candidate we need . . . You've made the assumption that Trump supporters can see the logic of your argument. I doubt they can. arent going to enlighten them, and can only serve to alienate anyone still inexplicably "on the fence". you still post your stats and articles periodically, and i read them all, and like you, i refuse to roll over and let the uneducated rabble mob "win". even saving one of "them" might save us all. i agree, its a small sample, just a discussion point. 9,000 peoples opinions? hell, according to trump, TEN TIMES that many DYING is an accomplishment worth bragging over while im not a fan of clintons (except when compared to trump), clinton DID win the popular vote, by about 3 MILLION AMERICANS. she just didnt play the electoral college as well trump did, calculating whose votes meant more than others. that wasnt the way it was supposed to work. to her, a person is a person, no one less than another. so while she didnt DE-VALUE some americans compared to others, trump, the wheeler-dealer with a string of YUGE business failures on his resume, did. for example, im from pennsylvania (20 electoral college votes) and youre from massachusetts (11 votes), so the way trump "plays" the system, MY vote means MORE than YOURS does. its one thing to follow the rules, its another to bend and twist them, like being allowed a certain number of fouls in basketball and being expected to intentionally use most of them. should our next election also be decided by foul shots? would you happy be with that ? ! looking forward to continued discussion. thanx "well only get through this if we work together. if we dont, none of us will"

just an observation, Trump will always be impeached by congress, that cant be pardoned, you brought up crimes to be pardoned, he has not been convicted of a crime, so cannot be pardoned for not committing a crime. My point was no president has been guilty of a crime and pardoned, impeached....yes., And I agree with you completely, several of them, I assume are involved in illegal shit. Again my point, no president has been convicted of a crime after his presidency is over. So no need to pardon cuz its not going to happen. "opening that can of worms" If it did happen,each president thereafter depending on who had the majority would be investigated....OK I'M done. Have a good night!!

interesting thoughts and points. thanx for your input biggest point i must debate is that "they . . .havent found anything to remove him from office." well, when the trump-fearing republican-controlled senate "votes" to DIS-allow witness testimony and document evidence from the impeachment trial, hes HARDLY been "proven" innocent either. if you want to talk about investigations, please see kzoopairs comment on nosnowformes blog "trump bestows upon himself . . .: post # 4320262. thatll show you that TRUMP is the one throwing anyone and everyone under the bus to vainly try to hide his own misdoings. and even his own party of cronies cant corroborate his desperate claims. even his pet dog bill barr deemed his "obamagate" claims insubstantial. and as far as the "level of scrutiny" comment? only those with something to hide push back about being looked at. those who do nothing wrong have nothing to hide. he is, by choice, a PUBLIC FIGURE, a PRESIDENT who takes credit for what others do right (like obamas strong and rising economy he inherited) and blames others for what he does wrong (like insulting coronavirus alarmers for two months until it was too late to act effectively). and you think he gets too much scrutiny? he CREATES controversy to BE the center of attention. AS long as Biden has been around time after time he has proved him self a lair, Most things he says he has done have been proven to be lies: He did not go to law school where he said he did.. he received no awards, he graduated at the bottom of his class in a second rate school... That would be a can of worms we could never close. andrew johnson was impeached for blocking post-civil-war reconstruction and civil rights efforts laws since he was a flaming racist. bill clinton was impeached for trying to cover up an extra-marital affair. nothing like that could happen today, right ? WRONG ! and nixon would have been impeached for covering up wire-tapping to gain information in his reelection effort. another thing that couldnt happen today, right ?
