in a man/woman relationship, NO, I don't think it is possible...it is chemicals and hormones that are raging I think....but I have fallen madly in love with my Lover once we met however after months of communication through emails and phone calls and so the feelings developed slowly and the meeting just made the roots go deeper.

TASTE LIFE IN ALL IT'S FLAVOUR

Thanks Luvsweetly,
Lust is usually the man's first reaction. However, I believe that God made it that way so that we would procreate and keep the species going. Most of us LIKE first, then love! Men tend to LIKE the physical package first, then when they get to know the rest of the woman, the love either blossoms or it never sprouts....

Yes sir... My husband (RIP)! We met at conference in DC and fell in love instantly. He was from NYC and I lived in Indiana. I left that week long conference professing I had met the man I was going to marry. We met in May and married in September. He moved from NYC to Indiana and we were married for 11 years until he died last year of colon cancer. Broke my heart... but there is such a thing. I don't think everyone experiences it and those that do are damn lucky! He was also my soulmate... I could think something in my head and he would answer out loud. We were just that fortunate. The odd thing is... we had NOTHING in common. He was hardcore against interracial relationships. He was apart of the Nation of Islam and then later the Nation of God and Earths. Love will push all obstacles out of your path. When he was diagnosed late with cancer... he fought and fought hard. I went on leave from work and spent every minute by his side in the hospital... refusing to allow a nurse to for him what I could. We took our vows seriously... sickness and heath... death do you part. He left this world in my arms. I held him tight and as he took his last breath he heard my whisper "It's okay... be at peace... I will love you forever"! With that... he left his physical form and I have been a widow for over a year now. He died the day before his 31st birthday. I say all of that to say... that I have experienced more in 11 years than many will in their lifetime and that many will become skeptical. But I will testify that it happens... it may be rare but I promise you it does happen!

I leave as I came... PEACE!

Your story was very touching....I, too, have experienced love at First Sight several times. I'll have to tell you about my experiences sometime. Your husband was so young to come down with such a dreaded disease. God Bless you for staying true to your vows....and I'm sure love will come to you again....maybe not the same way, shape, or form...but it will come.
