Not enough hours in the day

Not enough hours in the day It seems especially with the day light getting shorter that there just isn't enough time in the day to do everything that I want to do. I am not a morning person. Never really have been. I've been forced to get up and semi-function, but I don't count that. The other day I completed a project that I'd been procrastinating on for a long time. I finally got rid of all of the mis-matched plastic wear stuff in my kitchen and replaced all of the cookware that had either been broken or taken. I even got a new set of dishes that matches.  I replaced my utensils that were melted or otherwise in bad shape, and yes G, I even got a new potato peeler.  Anywho, my point being that it felt really good to get something done. So my project for today is to finish my dining room. When I was very pregnant with my youngest I painted most of it. I just couldn't move my big computer desk or liquor cabinet to paint behind them. My table had been broken by the Saint Bernard I had had and so the dining room became more of a baby room with a play pen and changing table, ect in it. Now that the wee one is no longer in a play pen here, and she's gotten too big for the changing table and stuff really, I've been getting rid of a ton of baby stuff and I have a new dining room table. I'm gonna have a real dining room again! So now it's in print, there's no backing out of it now. I've gotta get it done or I'll feel like a total ass. So I've gotta stay off the addictive internet. I'll catch up with you all when I'm finished. Wish me luck!What projects are all of you working on?  |

I am trying to get small projects done around the house to get ready for the holidays but i keep putting it off..I gotta get moving!

I'm in the middle of stripping the wall-paper and painting part of my living room which I'm hoping to finish before Christmas!

I paint when I'm stressed a lot. It's the reason that most of my house's rooms have been painted. It's very calming and it feels so good to see the finished results.

Very nice! I'm hoping to paint my living room soon. I have the great red paint to do it with, I just need to get primer and a friend promised to help me.

I'm sure once your friend found out your usually painting attire, he probably couldn't volunteer fast enough. That could be it.
