 I have set up a special email address a few times. I do it mainly when I am suspicious of someone who may be trying to harvest email addresses. Otherwise, if necessary, I could just mark an offender's email as spam if they turned out to be someone I wished to cut off communications with.
Currently I have a separate address for friends, family and utilities and one for companies that send frequent advertising. I am frequently looking for deals but those messages can clog a mail box. I just deleted 4000 messages yesterday. (A couple of months worth)

You have to be somewhat open if you plan to meet someone but those who want too much information set off alarm bells.

 I have a separate email address for the site and people I contact through it. I also have a second mobile phone for any meetings I arrange.

I also try and keep my private life separate from my sex life, am I being paranoid, probably.

 Usually I've no problem giving out my private e-mail address, then if things go smoothly phone number after that. With that said I really think most women should stick to whatever barriers they think they do not want to cross, even if it means just staying in contact through this at times unholy mess of a site. As you well know many men here will spin any number of whooping lies to get women to lessen their guard so stick to your rules no matter what.

 agree, do not give out number to anyone that i have not met, get enough unwanted calls without getting new texts
