 Yes, hot and cold drives me crazy. I run screaming from relationships now when someone does it.

In a way I sort of understand some women doing it, because a lot of guys are in it for the sex and if a woman gives it away too soon, he disappears for a week or two with no contact until he needs to get his nut again. It's a sure way to tell what the relationship is about for him. Sometimes if the woman goes cold and gets distant, guys should realize it's a test, and they need to follow up every couple days and tell her they can't live without her.

In her case though, I think she needed to exert control over the situation. It's a big thing with her.

I've long been sort of self-conscious about my writing, people at work are always making comments about it and I'm not sure they're all positive. They say things like it's uncomplicated, and I'm not sure what that means exactly.
