HOLY CRAP woman – where ya been!! So good to hear from you again - and lookin GOOD! Actually, I believe indifference is the opposite of love, but I agree hate is an emotion, just like love, and frequently comes from someone fulfilling one (or more) of our needs. You have an interesting perspective on love. If love is felt by you when someone is fulfilling one or more of your needs, how does that apply say to the love you feel for a newly born baby/child or a beloved pet? Do you only feel love for someone if you are getting something in return? I ask this, because love to me is unconditional and I expect nothing in return for my love. I simply feel it and emote it outwardly. My love is unconditional and therefor free. ******** Its not as blatant as me GETTING something specific in return, sometimes it could be as simple as fulfilling my need to have something to love in my life - babies and puppies are good examples, though the later also are wonderful companions too.
