 Ah McBlue, I think I saw that comment you refer to. It's unfortunate that such a person made you feel the need to explain yourself in this way. But I guess that says so much more about her than it does about you......

I'm sure the nasty sentiment in that comment isn't what's driving you away. You seem more substantial than that. It's a shame, our loss, that you've made the decision. The only thing I would offer by way of persuasion to remain my own experience. I really only stay here for these blogs. Once I see past all the nutters, there are actually very many good people who participate.

Otherwise, if/when you do go, I do hope you move on to greener happier pastures.

 No need trying to be who you aren't. I feel the same. I've never had a dick pic in my profile. It looks so stupid when guys do that. If a dick pic is your best way of expressing who you are, what does that say? I quit trying to meet local women here as well, nothing in my area interest me, or the ones who do, have no interest in me. I'm not really sure why I'm still here, going on 10 yrs now. Guess I stay out of boredom.

The blogs are really the only thing keeping me here. The days of actually swinging are gone and so are all the people I knew. The site lost a lot of it's activity for me when the "groups" died out and they died because of all the never-ending glitches.

 Everyone has to dance to the tune of the song playing in their head.
I noticed your profile spoke about the amusement this site brings/brought you ; that's what keeps me here. I wouldn't worry too much about what others say- it's just random stuff from random people I/you don't even know.
I feel like you do - every second day. And then I realize that THIS place is just a diversion from reality. There are many other places to find diversions and each one is unique in it's own strengths and weaknesses.
Take a step back... There are still hidden pockets of amusement. I've found a few.
Best of luck with whatever path you choose to follow.
