 I was never a fan of the old time twangy country music. Newer stuff is more like a pop/country kind of thing. I'm still 97% "classic" rock, blues/jazz guy. If you look back and listen to Eagles early stuff you can heard that same type of crossover, just from the other side.
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

 Its the simpleness of it that attracts me to it, it reminds me of when I was a kid, listening to it in the car or at home. I went to the grunge/alternative and then back to Classic Rock and some pop, but old country never loses its appeal for that reason.
