The seeds of it were planted in 1908, when 15,000 women marched through New York City demanding shorter working hours, better and the right to vote. Purple is the official color of International Women's Day because internationally, purple is a colour for symbolizing women. Dear Woman "Dear Woman, Sometimes you'll just be too much woman.
