I hope that everything is right, that this crisis caused in the world by this corona will soon disappear, my friend!

I am sorry that your daughter is sick. Those that I work with in the hospital that have come down with it say that the temperature is bad but does go away. Just make sure you quarantine yourself, and any one else that is in the house from your daughter. Clean everything she uses, you can wash your cloths together but let her put them in the washer. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I am pretty much self quarantining myself but going out for gas and walks making sure there is none with in 6 feet of me. I will admit I'm some what nervous at work working in the Medical ICU. So I do everything possible so I don't get it.

I also miss that connection with someone special as well. Remember one thing this is only a little set back. I'd keep on applying for the job you want even though I doubt you'll be able to move. Keep the faith up things well get better.

I passed on my bi-weekly massage on Thursday- THAT hurt. To make it a bit easier for her to get by, I did stop by to purchase a few gift certificates for future sessions.

All well here - so far. Working from home as much as possible, and relying on A*F*F and N'Flix for entertainment.

Best wishes to your daughter, and to everyone there.

Hope your daughter feels better soon. Hopefully, you can plan another vacation once we return to normal - whatever that looks like. If you find something coming down to Disney perhaps we could connect for dinner (again).

Take care.

Talk about a cloud with a silver lining. Although, I would rather you have the silver without the cloud. Hope your daughter heals quickly and good health to all. "Sense of community" is nice and you are such a special part.

I am so sorry to hear your daughter is sick, I hope she gets better soon, and I hope you all don't get sick and stay healthy. Your so right about keeping your sanity. I know its so hard right now being quarantined as all of us are. I know I want to go out but they are saying don't do it. I only go out when I have too.

I am sorry to hear you had to cancel your vacation, and not being able to follow through with your plans to sell your house and move my friend. I hope things get better soon, just please stay safe and healthy..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Yes, the world can change in a blink of an eye, or at least a couple of weeks. lol Times like these make us realize that we take the simple things for granted, and that we should be more mindful of them when we do have them.

Dearie me McK, that sounds awful, sounds like your girl has this virus......fortunately for youngsters they seem to pull through well enough.

I'm am still amazed that our authorities are not testing everything that sniffles, how do they know what they're fighting otherwise??

Here's hoping it flattens out soon enough. I hope you're well, I hope your new man is well, I hope your girl is well too. Take care lovely lady!

Good Luck with staying safe at work. I hope they have adequate personal Protection equipment available. I am very surprised that people that can make decisions are saying to use the mask for the whole day or just spray it down with a disinfectant.
My niece and her husband are both nurses in California and we all shoule keep the medical and other first responders in our thoughts

The world has changed. We are told to stay away from people .
No groups bigger than 250 then no more than 25 then no more than 10. Now your immediate family only. I see the reports in Italy and some here that the funerals are very limited to keep people intermingling and people getting sick.
Yet they say there is little risk
Most people that I have talked to are going to stay away from other people as much as possible until this settles down.
Can we retain our sanity for one month away from others two months is what one politician said
Good Luck to all of us

Miss K....Sorry to hear about your daughter and I hope she feels better soon. My son called me from college last month and he was very sick. After hearing about his symptoms it dawned on me ( a month later) that he may have had Covid-19. Who knew at that time. But both men are home now on extended spring breaks. Since I'm not working I'm fixing things around the house in hopes of putting it on the market soon. Just time to move on. Glad you're doing well and nice to have you back!

The whole of the UK is very close to total lock-down. We were told today (hope it's not too late) to all stay at home for at least three weeks (only essential workers to travel) and only shop for essential items and no social gatherings.

This site better behave, as it's going to get more use now!

A nice snuggle can make the world a better place.

Hope everything goes well with your Daughter. Be sure to get to the hospital if her breathing rate starts getting faster than normal or other issues with breathing.

I do wish your daughter a speedy recovery!! This virus is throwing everything off kilter. I think I am getting very close to cancelling 4 million dollars of business because of it...and I heard that Disney is closed... shocking... "unprecedented" is what my supervisor called it.

This is definitely not the way I would wish anyone to spend their vacation.... No fun not being able to get out and do things.

I crave friends, people with common interests. Who I can communicate with and hang out with.

I am now grounded for 4 weeks at least. I expect much longer. Since today, we are in a national state of emergency ...
Working from home and very busy ... I shall take a peek here every now and then.
Staying socially connected, but physically separated.
All the best to you and your loved ones.
Virtual hugs are still allowed!

I have been in complete lockdown since I got out of hospital...the family won't let me go anywhere except my usual vampire check up. I miss the grandkids most of all.
