Happy Sunday my friend, your meals look amazing, the ham and bean soup such a great comfort food. Yesterday we made homemade Spaghetti Sauce and it was so delicious, which we had the leftovers for lunch today. I hope your Sunday continues to be a memorable one..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I'm not the best of cook's to be honest
My comfort food is home-made stews or a traditional Cornish pasty (again, home-maid).

Haven't been cooking a whole lot, lately, with everything going on. Not to mention no one to cook for.

Really, I'm commenting to offer high praise on your presentation. Quite appealing!

I like bananas and blueberries in my pancakes but I might add some walnuts one of these days if I have any around, and of course maple syrup.

Favorite comfort foods would likely be my chili and my modified chicken and dumplings.

And I have "emergency" mac n cheese to play with; was looking forward to a new fish chowder but that got put on hold thanks to COVID. Enjoy Monday

My specialty is making something (semi) edible out of the remains in the fridge. Frequently this involves BBQ sauce.

I'll take the pancakes, please. Substitute walnuts with almonds or pistachios,, please.

For dinner, the Korean chicken with rice and broccoli is perfect!!

You can have the soup. This guy does not eat soup.

Dear friend, I'd love to join you for banana walnut pancakes...
I could do with a little treat after 4 days without power supply. It's hard to believe how dependent one is on power...

Devouring kisses,

Bannock is a type of fry bread, which originates from Scotland but was eventually adopted by the Indigenous peoples of Canada, particularly the Métis of western Canada. ... It is a simple bread, but quick to make and useful for travelling and while in the wilderness.

This Recipe is from the Stoney First Nation people in Alberta. It’s a wonderful variation of “plain” bannock.

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup raisins
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tablespoon lard or vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups lukewarm water

Preheat oven to 375º F.

In a large bowl, combine flour, raisins, baking powder and salt.

Blend in lard until all fat is absorbed. Gently stir in water—do not overmix.

Place dough in a floured square baking dish and bake at a 375º F. for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown. (Or bannock may be pan fried in a greased skillet over medium high heat for 2 to 3 minutes each side until golden brown.)
