Ok, yep, I laughed. 😂 I saw my daughters today and had a great meal at their place. They've become perfect hostesses and the food was excellent. It is good to get out now; as I have had both of my shots, I was able to have lunch with a special person, , It has been real quiet around here lately and was good to be out and have fine service at a nice restaurant today.. Glad you were able to get out.. Hope it gets better for all of us... Have a good day just be safe.. Enjoy your lunch, dear Miss! And say hello from me to your friend.  I'm so lucky that I am living in New Zealand. It's like being in another world. Life here ia almost normal. We still have to observe all the precautions and masks are compulsory in public transport. But we do not have any restrictions on meetings at the moment. Enjoy your Easter weekend! No plans for any get togethers here...even with a shot, we still need to mask and distance for the foreseeable future...we could carry the virus and pass it on so they say. Our Easter isn't until May 2nd this year the joke was hilarious!

Not able to meet friends or even go to a restaurant. New cases are averaging over 2,500 daily with 70% being a ‘variant of concern’. The entire province has just gone into lockdown for at least 4 weeks. The only good news is my vaccination appointments have been made: April 9 and July 30. Enjoy your Easter 🐣 weekend.

Nope, not met with any friends since March 2020. However we've now got a projected timetable of rule relaxations so hopefully I'll be able to meet up with a friend I've been "supporting" these last 12 months perhaps mid to late June. (When I say "supporting", we've been messaging once or twice a week, discussing the news events and giving a bit of moral support and encouragement to try and help each other through. She's got her first vaccine dose next weekend, still to hear about mine.)

No plans to meet anyone, as only got vaccinated two hours ago (and in middle of night shift run, so no Easter plans) but much prefer my own time and company, and apart from female company, no major hunger for connecting with anyone else Enjoy your get together x

Nope...no large gatherings here a of yet. I will still remain cautious for the time being. i will wait for the nicer weather when we can meet outside. I did meet a new friend from here a few weeks ago...it was outside, and he gets tested regularly for his work. We will wait for more vaxx to meet again though. That's a great joke.. I hope you have a great time with your friend and you both enjoy your lunch and time together.As for the shot I haven't been able to get mine yet, I am still waiting. Hubby got his yesterday and he got the J & J shot, one time and done, just like he wanted. I hope you and yours enjoy a wonderful Easter Weekend.. Well that's great news McKiss, she's a lucky blogger, to have your company for a few hours at least! I got my first vax dose last week, looking forward to getting my second. And hopefully travel restrictions will ease thereafter. I reckon I'd quite suit blonde!

Things are getting worse by the day. Now averaging 3000+ new cases per day. Effective midnight tonight, going back into a 'stay at home' order. Hospitals are more than pushed to the max, with ICUs beyond capacity. Am thankful I have my appointments booked. Feels like this nightmare will never end.
