Sounds like they are pretty. I always buy flowers for my 80 year old Mom on Mothers day. She has Roses planted in the yard that were transplanted from my Grandmother . Looking forward to warmer weather for sure . Thank You .

Ohhhhhhh how nice and today was National Naked Gardening Day. A little chilly in our neck of the woods but im sure someone somewhere celebrated.

Your colors sound lovely. I do a bit too but so far have just turned over and conditioned the soil. A few weeks ago i planted pansies on the front stairs cuz they can survive the cold.

Spring has sprung for sure ~

Glad your fall hasnt prevented you from your gardening .....

I have some tulips in bloom....the stargazer lilies just poked out......the jonquils, did well even though they got flattened by a couple snowfalls!

It's late and I'm tired but I have a pizza in the oven. I've chopped some onions, slow cooked some mushrooms and I'm adding those to the toppings.
Oh, and I've got a movie chilling — and some ice cold coke in the fridge.

Ugh...
Never mind - just messing around.

R Ya ever gonna get those batteries for that fricken transporter beam fixed?

Imagine... for a second...
Would that stop all the bull-shitters from bull-shitting? lol 😂 😮

Hang on a sec; I gotta clean up the bathroom and change the sheets; just in case. ❗❗😎

ohhhhhh jonquils....that reference made me smile as my mom and i would go back n forth with the name....she would always call em jonquils and i would say..." no mom, they are daffodils ". She would say, " nope , jonquils "....and around n around we would go. She has been gone since 2011....and i smile when i see the name ...jonquil. At any rate and whatever one calls em...they and lilacs are my absolute faves~~

Nah, never had the green fingers. I deliberately chose a flat to live in where I had no gardening responsibilities.

Must be satisfying to see the fruits of your labour in full bloom though.

I was working outside quite a lot yesterday and even got a bit of a sun burn.

When turning the vegetable garden by hand for the first time a few weeks back (A MAJOR effort given out soil's consistency) I noticed the next day that I was NOT all achy and sore. I guess upping the gym workouts have paid unexpected benefits!

jonquils are in the daffodil family.....the difference being jonquils are white and daffodils are yellow. We also have a violet lilac bush.

In these parts they both are hues of yellow. Research says the leaves are a bit differently shaped and the jonquil stems are hollow and usually shorter than the daff varieties. I love em both. Also....have the white lilacs here. Such fragrance~~

I bet your flowers are just beautiful. I have never been much of a gardening fan myself, but hubby loves gardening and has quite the green thumb. I do miss our gardens as we had so many fresh vegetable that were so good.

Our grand children even had their own pumpkins for Halloween, and they were so thrilled to have them and cut them out.

I am glad your feeling better, and I hope your Sunday is a peaceful one..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

The weather folks say this is the best Spring in these parts since 2012, and I believe them! It's been too many years of miserable raw Aprils and chilly Mays, but this one seems different. Glad you're taking advantage of the good weather to spruce up the place! I did the same today! Happy Spring then really happy Summer!

You know that I love gardening. Sadly our garden centres are still closed because of the pandemic. I can't wait for them to open again.
