 It shows you how much attitudes have changed these days. Back then, it was all about "keeping a woman in her place". These days, women are much more independent, the Neanderthal attitudes are fading, and spanking (either way) is done more for fun than as a form of "correction".

When I was warned I would be spanked if i was late for an event, I would always move my butt just a little bit faster because I knew that making him late was unacceptable in the military and my punishment would hurt.
