They did it again- AFF that is

Well I have a question for all the paid members. Why did we all pay for our memberships if we don't get what we paid for? I mean we are suppose to be able to email anyone right? But because of AdultFriendFinder we can't. Now because of them we can't email standard members and be able to hear back from them. So again I ask what are we paying for? I believe they are trying to force them to buy in or us to start giving away paid memberships. What the fuck? And every time they change something on here it doesn't work right or at all or something else stops working. Another thing, it can say that people have flirted or hotlisted you or viewed you and a lot of times it will come up saying that nobody has. Again, WTF. Half the time your lucky if IM works. I say give us back our ability to email standard members and hear back from them and quit changing things and fix the issues they already have so our experience is more enjoyable here. I might not be renewing at the end of my membership unless they deal with these problems. What we all really need to do is start bombarding AdultFriendFinder with emails complaining about this and maybe they would do something. Take care my fellow members. And join me in the fight to make them fix this.

 I've been saying this for a long time and have even written them about it. I have filled out the surveys why I don't know because they don't listen to the people who are paid members. I really think what all paying members should do is to tell AdultFriendFinder that we will not be renewing our membership unless these changes we want happen. The only way changes will happen is if you hit them where it hurts in the pocket books. We can also try flooding then with emails and that includes Andrew the CEO, as well as site support.

Hey there, I've already told them that I will probably not be renewing because of these and other problems with this site. I just wish there was a better way to get the message out to ALL paid members.

 Emailing them just goes ignored. Stand a better chance calling them but thats beginning to do no good either. Myself and many others have been on the phone with them many times about the IM issue. Its been 6 months since the issue started(booted every 15-30 minutes) and its not a clear cookies/cache issue or browers. Tried them all and even 4 different computers within a 70 mile radius that i travel. always the same issue. Some have no issues, guess the ones that do have the issues are on the servers they cant afford to update. JS

I use google chrome. I don't get kicked off once I'm on but getting on is the trick. Sometimes I have to keep opening and closing the IM box and just hope it finally opens correctly.

 Well, I agree, the site used to be good and they should have just left as it was. Now it is a shadow of its former self. My membership runs out today and I have set the renewal button to off. Anyone know any good alternative sites?

 Maybe we should try reverse psychology. Tell them how much we like what they are doing or how much we hate what we actually like. Then maybe they will do what we want in an effort to piss us off.

 Unfortunately, it's in the fine print when you purchase the Gold membership that AdultFriendFinder has the right to take away any benefits, with no notice, at any time. AdultFriendFinder of course pointed this out to me when I complained about this change when it first happened.
So everyone just needs to set up a 'for your eyes only' blog or a postbox here on AdultFriendFinder, then put it in your status that you have that available for ppl to contact you privately.
The problem with this, though, is that standards can't read your status line. Or maybe they can, if they hover their mouse cursor over a handle? I am not sure if friending the standard member makes a difference. I have been told if you are the standard members top fan, you can exchange messages.
I hope standards will get the message about the postbox and 'for your eyes only' blog and just start checking the blogs to see if the Gold person they are interested in happens to have such a blog.

Yes standards can read the status line. At least the part that shows when you put the cursor on the profile pic. I am not for sure how friending them works. I also don't know how the top friend works anymore, I know it use to be that if a standard was in the top ten they could view and email but now is a good question.

 I didn't renew my membership.....there are so many problems with this site and all they say is thank you for contacting them.. nothing get fixed. Everytime they change something, more problems arise. I don't buy anything already broken, so they have to fix things before I buy in again!
