Yesterday night was a brightly lit moon....
And I was getting restless.
There was no night wind despite a clear sky.
Such is the case of a summers night.
So I crept me along
Down to my watering hole.
Oh to dip into the refreshing waters
Cold as snow.
Yes, when nowadays, the youths are focused on
their computers and iPhones or on their mug of beer
Nary to realise the bliss of a lovely watering hole.

So sheerful and delightful
That this little secret pond no longer
Attracts the attention of the youngest anymore.

 yes, the kids now days just do not know the simple pleasures in life.
here at camp, the college age staff learn the simple things. they do not have access to tv. they have their phones but not always service here. they have learned about having fun. it is great to see...
