Oh My Goodness!!

I just turned a new page in my life yesterday. Well, a little page anyways. I finally started to plant my vegetable garden yesterday in the raised table beds I made (I hate bending over in the garden). I have always been the type that would not plant anything that I could not eat . Well, when I was picking up my plants yesterday, I noticed some flowers that I liked and bought several and would you believe it? I planted them in my front yard!! My curmudgeon "persona" is cracking, next thing you know I will have a bed of flowers blooming every spring. Are you a "flower person" in any of your plantings? Or in your home?

Loving all your pix and would love to see your garden and raised beds. I like the idea of gardening, but not so much the work of it . Wonder if the raised beds might help.

I love flowers, and vegetables, and both culinary and medicinal herbs in my garden if I can have them. Only have pots right now. Panies, a red geranium, two tomato plants and some basil. I already killed the rosemary...

OMG you brought flowers yesterday well done. I got a lot of flowers on my property. I do like them too. I already have all my veggies plants in but some are not doing well so I might have to plant a few more Zucchini plants again. The weather has been up and down here so not stable enough for them. Everything else is doing well hugssssssssss V

I used to love it, but the apartment life with no access to a place for planting, I got away with it. One of the simply pleasureable things that are no longer in my life

WITHOUT PASSION LIFE IS NOTHING

When I had a house, I had a front yard full of native perennial flowers.
My apartment garden has 3 potted plants, a fossil and a carved wooden tulip ... for color!

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

It was kind of weird when I bought the flowers

The legs are 4X4 inch pressure treated posts. With cross braces to set the box in .

The box is eight feet long by 4 feet wide, the bottom, sides and ends are pressure treated decking boards. You make the box as deep as you want (by number of boards you use.

Line the box inside with the "weed proof" fabric to separate the soil from the lumber. My boxes are almost 5 years old now, no problems
