It will be a fun breakfast day today! I am making pancakes for the God sons. It is a breakfast food that we all like. Nice and golden in color. Filling the house with the scent of the batter cooking. What can I say, we are simple guys with simple tastes. The only problem I the variety of flavors, blueberry, chocolate chip and a personal secret , peanut swirled into the dough. Then the toppings, limited only by your imagination. I am almost drooling thinking of them. Are you a pancake person? If so, do you have a favorite type? A favorite topping. I have learned from experience that the transfer of pancakes from skillet to plate should be done carefully

 A pancake that I like and can rarely find is buckwheat. I'm not big on adding anything more than maple syrup. Don't forget the side of bacon, though, and a big glass of chocolate milk!
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

 Yes you do have to remove them carefully, they look delicious, and today I had one of these this morning as it was left over from yesterday. We have a little family owned Donut shop called Rollen Donuts and they make the best donuts ever, and my favorite is their chocolate bars.. Happy Hump Day!!!
