 What a great evocation of how the senses come into play when dealing with food! Hadn't thought of the correlation between the kitchen and the garage as workspaces... but then, as a city boy who grew up without garages, it wouldn't be a natural leap to make...

still, it's a good one, and I'm delighted you did.

A fine post, concocted in the way some of the best dishes are -- a dash of this and a bit of that, and the whole is, synchronistically, better than the sum of its parts. Great!
