sure it happens...I overhear woman talk about their "men" all the time....they talk about his looks, his personality, how much money he makes, and what kind of car he drives. Men do the same....we talk about her looks and her mannerisms! Most mature men won't let their friend's sway them when it comes to who they date or sleep with. Only small minded and immature people will allow their friends to dictate how to run their lives....sure friends give us advice, but we all have to make our own decisions!

Your blog posting has intrigued me. Mainly because 5 years ago I was a BBW. I weighed 210 pounds at 5'4 which was considered obese. I had the same feelings as you when men would be more than happy to hook up yet refused to be seen with me or go on dates that were in public. Yes, there is a definite social stigma men have with "fat chicks."

Since losing 80 pounds, I have had to beat guys off with a stick who want to go out. Inside, I am the same person I was 5 years ago. Men are simply visual creatures who inadvertently stereotype women. At least this has been my experience.

Here's one that not only involves guys but gals as well, I'll make it short and sweet. When I was 17 I dated a plus sized woman, now I'm mean she large, far larger than you, but she was very pretty and very smart, I we'd go everywhere and sometimes women would look, point and laugh so fucking hard, she'd get sooo pissed and it never did bother me, as a side note, she'd kicked their asses at once she was VERY tough! In a way I think those chic''s were jealous or something, because back then I was sex beast and freaking knew it....in the end she moved many, many miles away.

Sometimes older women tuck me away, sometimes its just hiding me from their "kids," and other times I'm not so sure....I know the one that's my current FWB goes out with me, well her kids are only around on the holidays and shit. But there's been others....eh its not such an "acceptable" thing here, yet. So I can kind of see their deal, I guess?

Luckily for me, I'm of the mindset, if you don't like me or what I'm doing suck my big pee pee! I'll do and see who the hell ever I please so, fuck society and their views!

Greater Than The Sum Of My Constituent Parts!

I have a few guy friends who are quite superficial and obsessed with only being with a beauty queen, slim and anorexic. I learned a long time ago that many women who starve themselves to look that way are MISERABLE. i would rather a woman be my best friend, regardless of how much she weighs

I find a connection based on a pretty face, a mental connection, and sexual compatibility. I don't judge my wife or partners by a number on a scale. Anybody who does is a shallow idiot.

Not all men think that way, you know. I'd be delighted to introduce you to my friends and family and have them know that we are intimate. Introducing you to my wife, now that's a different story.

Seriously, this is something that aggravates hell out of me. Many men with extreme prejudices about feminine pulchritude are fucking ugly themselves, if not outside then in the shallowness of their souls. I feel awful that that happened to you. How could he be so obtuse as to not know how that remark would hurt you?

I'll tell you again- I think you are a fine looking woman and I'd be proud to show you off as mine!
