I'm not sure how extensive your menu is, but if you are in the mood for soup, maybe a nice grilled cheese & tomato soup to dip the sandwich in? i love your post. very fun.

soup and salad. no time to play around. taste? right now, less important than sustenance youll keep down. add texture instead - sun-dried tomatoes and olives in the salad, and maybe tortellini in the soup. stay away from anything hot or spicy, at least for now, except maybe a little freshly ground black pepper. as tasty as it sounds, leave the donair in the freezer for later until you feel more right again. good luck "well only get through this if we work together. if we dont, none of us will"

Steak and potatoes, you can literally eat that for that everyday, with nothing else for the rest of your life, and not just survive, but thrive. Feel free to message my private mailbox

Soup will be ideal when you're in hospital. It's not always easy to eat solid food anyway. I soon found that out

Soup would be good if I lived in a cold area like you.

The list the hospital sends to make a selection is not even palatable. Much less the results that comes form their food service facility.. Good that you have a second source of nourishment... Get better, and salads are good , if you are a rabbit or are real hungry!!!! That looks like something that the cat threw up. Problem is that the hospitals know that their food is crap, but do nothing about it. They usually tell relatives to bring food from home on the excuse that because they are ill, they want home cooked food, lol

I could not complain about my hospital's food BUT one say nothing appealed to me. The head dietician came to my room and wanted to know what was wrong as I was on her list of "needs to eat" patients. I told herethat the list of meals have nothing I wanted to eat so she asked me what I wanted. Iasked for a big fat medium rare cheeseburger with no bread and a salad and a large iced tea. It sowed up delivered personally in 22 minutes!!! Luck Tuesday. I am tinking of you (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group
