a BLT and a debate
My husband I were having BLtS that's a sandwich with bacon lettuce and tomato last night for dinner but we were out of miracle whip, but we had mayo though which he refused to eat.So he went into town to get himself some miracle whip. I thought he was crazy or something to not just use the mayo we had already.
it started an old debate we've had over the years. is miracle whip better than mayonnaise

what do you prefer miracle whip or Mayo ??? do you like BLTs they are my favorite sandwish to eat, with mayo of course. do you have a certain deli style sandwich that is your favorite Sammy ???Now I've went and made myself hungry and craving a BLT but we have no bacon.....

 I love BLTs, and I've always used Miracle Whip, but if MW isn't available, mayo is fine then....

 I am for equal opportunity among sauces in this matter. They are different but I enjoy both- especially on a BLT.

 I had a thing for BLT's since I was little. My Mom became so frustrated that it's the only thing I'd ever order at a restaurant it became, "Get anything but a BLT. "

I prefer Helman's? Yet if out I'll take anything --- mayo, miracle whip. In that order.

 In our family we eat Toast tomato and bacon, no lettuce mayo or miracle whip.
Anything worth doing is worth doing right

 I make my own mayonnaise , but I do use Miracle Whip combined with my homemade Salad Dressing ( different than mayo) that my Grandmother made. Its delicious for potato or macaroni salad.
