If you decide to trust the system to leave your auto reply alone ( a bigger if than I would have imagined). - State where you are in your personal journey (as you has said you are no a break from meeting right now, if you are just looking for a driveby or in the market for something enduring I guess you should say that too, or a strictly online cyber relationship) - A window in which you will reply if you are interested, - The gentle reminder that more messages are not going to change your mind, - If you choose not to respond, that they find what they are looking for on the thier own path. Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

If you recall, I was one of the ones that didn't have an issue with auto-replies, and fully understood why the ladies here would need to use them. As far as how a "good" auto-reply reads, something like "Thank you for your email. As I'm sure you can understand, ladies on this site receive tons of emails - some of them of little value. I will read yours, and if it is clear that you've read my profile, and I think we might be seeking the same things, I will respond. If I don't respond - thank you again for your interest in me, and best wishes in your search." I didn't use an auto reply for awhile. Ever time I change my profile i turn it off for a bit to see if it is still needed. Usually yeah it is. Maybe you got two differing opinions because women write different types of auto-response. If it's a cheery "I'll get back to you if I fancy you" then it's OK. If they go on a rant about what they will or won't do, or if they assume that you won't have read the profile (which is a bit much because they haven't read my email yet...), then that's an unnecessary "fuck you " - and it makes you wonder about someone who is automatically so negative. As usual on this site, there is no straightforward answer
