Happy Sunday hun this was a really hard one for me as I have to say I am a pretty good dancer and can still bust a move. At the club im out there doing the electric slide, dirty dancing with my hubby. But I think this one can kind of sum it up if I had to pick one..lol..I hope your Sunday is fun one.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Och, ah dinna ken if I ever told you this shocking factoid about me, but salsa, la salsa, bailando, es mi vida. It's my wee happy place. And so, when I've had a few bevvies, drams, drops, beers, woteva, then get on the floor, I know beyond any shadow of a doubt that I am the best dancer on the floor by a country mile, obviously!! Fortunately, when I dance I rarely over-indulge in the bevvy, and I've been told I dance like a latino, so I'm happy. No' bad for a jock wi' a hairy, sweaty spotty scottish arse likes, ye ken?!?!? So, send me a vid of you dancing please!

Dancing is meant to be entertainment, and to be an expression of happiness, or sometimes other intent. It is not meant to look like anything other than humor however, and slow close dancing may be the exception, as that is only having sex (dry humping) with your clothes on!! I come from a culture where dancing is extremely important, for ceremonies ! Do I think my fellow dancers look anything other than ludicrous, or that I do either, NO...... It isnt the intent to look otherwise ! So the phrase, "Dance Like You Mean It" is very apt, if you choose to dance, than dammit DANCE !!!!

Good post. I don't have a meme but I was confronted with this just this past week when I took a "Move, Groove, and Funk" exercise class. In my head I think I'm funky af but the full length studio mirrors showed an awkward middle aged white chick, imagine that!!
