I put this song list together after listening to the DJ that was spinning records during a comedy event I attended... The DJ had some old school tunes... I used my "Sound Hound" app to capture some of them...

13. Destiny's - "Survivor"

15. Wild Cherry - "Play that funky music"
16. Marvin Gaye - "Got to give it up"
17. Rihanna - "Desperado"
18. The Weeknd - "Can't feel my face"

I try to fit these songs into my blogs... or my responses to your blogs..

Hi sweet_VM.

I'm glad that you liked that list.

It was inspired by an event I wrote about in May.

So, it has a different emphasis.

I've had some ask me to supply them with song lists for various needs.

Some have asked for inspirational, others for 60s, 70s and 80s mixes, others liked a particular singer and asked if I might do a hits list for them, because they were not familiar with their songs, but liked the voice.

Others just enjoy the easy going music that I like...

It's normally not mainstream, but, as in this list it was.

On May 14, 2016 I wrote this blog: "She called me... told me that she would pick me up and that we would have a night out on the town... "

My daughter was performing her comedy routine at a place in East Fort Worth... It was an interesting evening... with interesting people and music...

You might like that post... (Yes, it really did happen)...
