Young Man Arrested for Upskirt Videos

An 18 year old man in Greendale, Wisconsin has been arrested for taking more than 100 upskirt videos of his high school classmates over the last three years. Police found 150 upskirt images on his computer.

Wisconsin doesn't have a law that specifically prohibits secretly taking upskirt photos. Since many of the girls in his photos are minors, he is being charged with possession of pornography.

Discussion follows, I imagine.

 It does seem like a lot of things that were innocent "children at play" events of my childhood are considered sexual assault or sexual harassment these days. Is that bad or good? I don't know.

Sometimes, it seems to have gotten out of hand. I remember a story not too long about about a 5 year old boy being brought up on assault charges for kissing a fellow Kindergarten classmate on her cheek. That, IMHO, is over the top.

As for the upskirt videos this kid took with his cell phone, I don't get the thrill. In these days of panty hose, there's not much to see, anyway. In the old days of stockings and garter belts, well, that's another story.

All joking aside, what the kid did was clearly an invasion of the girls' privacy. Will his punishment fit the crime? Until he hits the courtroom, we won't know.
