Taking the initiative is fine. But sometimes people, men included, because a variety of reasons - culture, upbringing, shyness, fear of rejection etc. I used to find it difficult to make the first move and I still do but I will do it now.

I am more than happy with women who take the initiative. It is part of being seen to be equal. But most of all I enjoy women who have taken the time to develop thoughts and ideas, who are willing and capable of articulating them. Who challenge my ideas and give me pause for thought and to re-evalaute my ideas. As a result I find my views are more greatly refined and that better decisions are made. Thank you to those women and encouragement to all others to follow a similar path.

There are some places in the U.S. where the people act like they still live in the 50's and that the woman should do everything for her husband. Very creepy and totally out of touch with modern values and it undercuts the strength and capability of women to be independent. Oh and I actually enjoy it more when women ask me out.  Funny women are incredibly sexy!

hi pretty lady, i grew up in a era where it was the man that opened doors, took charge, paid the bills, it use to all be a show of respect.... i have never had a lady ask me out, had a few drinks bought an it was nice..... but always seemed to find the women that the man has to start things in sex... i would be up for that!!!!!!!!!
