No cold so far this summer for me. (knock wood) The only thing I am allergic to is dust, given the type of work I do that's is somewhat ironic.  Feel better Joy!

My summer cold this year lasted a week so best wishes. I even lost my voice and for you to not be vocal about your party is going to be a disappointment. However, you might have been exposed to some germ in your recent travels. You were not getting the usual sleep and your body decided you needed rest so it beckoned to a little germ to keep you company. There is no joy in a summer cold. I hope you feel better! How do you beat a summer cold lovers? I hardly ever get a cold but never in the summer. Do you have any summer time allergies and if so what are you allergic to? Yes, people who forgot to use deodorant that day.

Oh hell...hope you feel better real quick Joy! I'm one of the lucky ones (knock on wood-yes that was my head you heard me knocking on...lol). that gets a cold maybe once a year. Haven't had that F word (not THAT F word) in years! I hesitate to say it out loud for fear of a smack down by it....as a haha, you shouldn't have said it kinda thing...lol Summer colds are the worst though as you pointed out. Drink...drink...drink lots of water and rest. Enjoy that day in bed, despite no company. Take care and I'll look forward to hearing about your weekend when you feel better! I'm so sorry to hear your not feeling well my friend, I would also tell you to have some chicken soup put some extra chicken bouillon in it. That always works wonders for me my friend.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I hope you are better again soon sexy lady. I don't tend to get colds very often-either summer or winter ones, I think mainly as I work outdoors so I'm not stuck in an office with the martyrs who insist on turning up for work then proceed to cough and sneeze over every desk and work surface they can find  No allergies that I know of either, unless you count spending a week on holiday with my brother I think the best way to get rid of your cold would be to have a lovely hot bath followed by a relaxing all-over massage, then a good night sleep snuggled up with me!!
