From memory Photoshop has a 3 colour system options on one of it's menus (I can't remember which one). They are CMYK, RGB and Greyscales. the last one should change the picture to shades of grey, no not the book. Monochrome doesn't have to be grey it can be shades of any one colour. Greyscales do produce some stunning photos and some times they are better for detail than colour. Doesn't you camera have a Monochrome setting? “For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen.” ― Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Much like this site Visit my Blog for my adventures.

Hello Joy I like the first pic sweetheart! If you have pictures saved to your computer you can edit them to any color you want. You my have to right click on picture but choose edit for picture and you can change color. Like this. Butch

I don't do photo shopping and clueless when it comes to that, but I would go with the first one my friend..very sexy..and leaves them wanting more..

I use windows photo gallery. When I double click on a photo, there are 6 boxes in the upper right that say effects....click on the first one and color goes to B/W...farther to the right is a box that says you can return photo to original.

Depending on your camera, you should be able to make changes there before you download to your computer. If not photo shop is the way to go

I've got an old version of Paint Shop Pro which has a "greyscale" function on it, but I don't know how you do that thing where it turns it black and white except for highlighting something red, for example. Quite clever, but personally I prefer the full colour as that's essentially what we see in real life. Mind if I help myself to a wee chocolate?

I am willing to help but I have no idea how to take a beautiful color picture of your assets in turn it into a black and white photo! Become a Apollorising2057 blog watcher!

On my computer this function you are asking abou;t is an easy peasy task.. This machine has windows 10 on it; so without knowing what photo app you have or what computer program platform you use, it could be difficult to help you. I know you use and older computer and the program is an older version of apple or windows. I am sure there is some kind of photo cropping program and color editing on it..even windows Vista had some photo editing programs. The easy way would be to set your digital camera to a B&W setting and shoot some photos. Then transfer those new photos to the computer. If all else fails use google and do a "how to edit photos with your computer's program platform" and watch a video about How to Do It...do the same for your camera to if you need to. I use how to videos all the time. computer, car ect, ect, ect...what a lovely tech age we have now....would have solved my washing machine fixing frustration in 1977,,no more wits end!!!!!!! LOL

As a friend once said to me "If you don't find what you are searching for online; type your search request differently." Works well for me.

I use the free Picasa software to edit my pics and change them to monochrome. It is not so great for cropping, though. Check out my profile or and become a "watcher" of my blog FMAOPLS,to learn more about me, and for intelligent, lively, smartassy and fun discussion, with a little irreverence thrown in. "Like" or comment on my photos, and I promise I'll add more. Thanks.

Dear Joy: As delectable as ALL those photos are, I feel as if the "classic" photo of you in a state of repose would best lend itself to the more stark shadings of monochrome... (and though I can appreciate the artistic beauty in both monochromatic and fully chromatic photos, I too still find that the more natural the image, the more beautiful... ...)

You look great in all of these photos..#1 you know I love!!

all are different view all are great of you to monochrome to move who knows what one approve those monochromed you see from a time in early camera history are different from your own often smiling lasses in corsets of bone they show legs long and enticing and wonder who is financing the taking of the photo on a plate so folks in olden times could masturbate looking on the corset and skin maybe a costume is where you must begin Thoughts in sensual pleasure to erotic writing writ. I think the first one is a clear winner as for converting to black and white that really depends on the program you use but you should be able to find a related tutorial online (YouTube probably be a good choice). Anyhow have fun.

I lov eyou in color or black and white

Hi Joy Ijust love thedramatic effect that Monochrome provides and I think Paul Simon would be proud of your reference to one of the greatest pieces of music ever producedI personally think "Kodachrome" would be a perfect soundtrack for a slideshow of Monochrome images. as for the software... I'm more of a Unix fan (the best thing that comes out of MS is the highway leaving Redmond)...so I would run a copy of the Gimp running on a Linux box... just use a greyscale filter and then play with color saturation levels until you've got it like you want it.
| ||||
|
You can set the camera to take them in B&W. I used to develop film both B&W and Color. Kodachrome...no one knows what it is now.
| ||||
|
Definitely the first one ! As for pointers, even the basic programs in your computer, have the option of B/W transformation of the pic Cheers - P
| ||||
|
For b/w photos I just slide the 'saturation' bar right back.
