I do enjoy Louie Armstrong. My brother was a fan of Louie too. The green has come on strong here..lots of flowers have or are blooming and many more before the summer ends...One of my favorite flowers is so delicate and strange with a white stem and five lavender colored petals..the green part of the plant dies away by the month of July,,just the stem and flower poking out of the ground in September. Autumn Crocus, Naked Lady, Meadow Saffron are a few nick names of the "Colchicum autumnale" Very pretty!
