The woman at the perfume counter chose a men's cologne out for me. Sprayed it on me and told me that it was MY scent. She gave me a free sample tiny bottle. The big one... was going to be $135 I liked that free one. nothing YET today I will be giving some of my time to the local animal shelter... but truly I get paid for that with puppy dog kisses

I travel alot by public transit....I gave up my seat to an older woman. While at the grocery store, I let someone go ahead of me in line. Simple things but their smiles  were all the reward necessary.

Echoing Sexyldy1000, random acts of kindness are almost always free and often more gratefully received than the extravagant gifts we bestow upon our friends and loved ones. My most common contribution is to offer other automobiles the right of way (for turns, lane changes, etc) during rush hour, when everyone else is making it about themselves and acting as if every second counts. My second favorite is overtipping. A personal effort to redistribute wealth, one underpaid and underappreciated service-person at a time.

Damn I was singing along to that Who...from the infamous Tommy Opera. And that is a free simple pleasure. Thanks for providing it...I know you are singing it in your head as well. I have been saying this to my wife and family for 30 years; everything I want and need costs nothing in dollars. The best things on life are free...... The family keeps thinking we have to buy crap to be happy, new stuff, different stuff.... ..... Just look up at night, BAM !........ Just lean back while drinking you wine or coffee and watch...... Just listen to sounds around you wherever you are...... hold the person with you a bit tighter..... ~Farl
