I have strange ,out of the ordinary message from close friends from time to time. where I had to call them or message another friend of ours to see what going on. all the time they had been hack. sooner or later we all will be. computers are wonderful at times they could be dangerous.
my lap to froze up warning all over the place. was home alone at the time so I called a number I was totaled not to shut down. the they said I was being invaded and whom ever was getting full control. I don't know anything about this so I felt uncomfortable but they said to relax we can help. for a price. now im worried.
so I had them start the scan and after the hour I was all back to normal they explain what was going on and every got blocked and now is protected. that was over a year ago and I have not had and problem since, Knock on Wood.
so how all is good with you now.

I don't use FB. Stories like yours about being hacked give me poor faith in technology. I'm sorry this happened to you. It makes me think twice about using a cell phone to access these kinds of sites. Hanging is too good for the hackers who invade our privacy.

Hello Joy
Yes I have been hack on FB many times. I didn't see any thing from you today that you been hacked but that means nothing on FB. To damn bad that we got to have assholes that do that to us.
All the things you listed can help. I have had many things on message like you got sucks for sure. It's the times we live in now got to be pricks out there to screw up a good time for the rest of us!

Havent been hacked...that I know of. Those are all good tips. They are basic hygiene, which goes a long way.

I've had my FB hacked once or twice, even most of my friends have been hacked. But due to my relatively small list of friends I know when something is off kilter. I know that they don't have more than one account and friend requests should never happen once I've accepted. Also the messages that come thru are easily spotted by me. It's a warm feeling I have knowing my friends as I do. Spotting the scummers I mean scammers is simple and quick to report......…

Sorry to hear that !
Wonder how these guys have so much time to hack us regular peeps (though you are not "regular").
Come to think of it, you are celebrity around these parts, so maybe it was a "fan".

Glad it got resolved.
LOVE the thumbnail BTW !

I haven't been hacked on FB, in the sense we all know that to be, but my profile has been *spoofed* before. Someone from Japan, or using an email account from Yahoo dot jp (code for site in Japan) tried to pass it off as me. Friend of mine sent me a screen shot of the profile page, along with the friends request, to my phone.

Luckily the *spoofer* didn't get any pertinent info off of mine that may have made it harder to deny. I set my security codes on FB to the maximum, changed my log in PW, and notified everyone on FB as soon as I was notified of the spoof. This happened to me about three, almost four years ago, and it doesn't surprise me that it's still going on. Hackers are everywhere; no place is sacred anymore.

I don't use my cell phone for anything other than calls and texts. It's seven years old, and won't hold any apps at all, so I'm pretty safe there. Everything done here is on a PC, which has its own good safety devices build in.
