 As thought-provoking (in a carpe diem sort of way) as Eda Lou Walton's poem is, we in the north are chillingly reminded that our fireweed has blossomed and is now fading- a signal that summer is on its way out. COVID or not, we must pick up the pace of our life because winter is coming.

I had to look up fireweed, never heard of it before ... thank gawd for our friend Google! Thank you - just learned something new! It's a beautiful flower. I'm looking forward to that first hint of winter. COVID has changed a lot of things, tho, Mother Nature is changes for nothing and no one. Keep safe ...
