Cake anyone?
Cake anyone? I'd like my cake and want to eat it too. Can't even tell you how often I've heard that phrase, " you can't have your cake and eat it too". That's exactly what I'm trying to do. I guess I'm chasing that intensity or newness that's missing in my life. You know come to think of it I want some ice cream with my cake. Strawberries and chocolate syrup too. Now I'm hungry and horny. Lol. Are you chasing the intensity or just the sex? |

Maybe you hear it frequently because you're one of those charmers that want to be able to sleep with people outside of your marriage, on the sly, but still keep the wife and kids and dog and barbecues with the neighbors and mortgage, all the while projecting yourself to be one of the good guys. Tall order. It's a possibility.

So far it's all been just online fun. Don't know if I want to make the jump to leading two separate lives. Burning the candle at both ends can get hot. Thanks for your comment

Can we assume that your online fun is something you are hiding from your spouse, am I right? Assuming this is true, nothing we do comes without a price, without tradeoffs. While it seems like you're having you cake and eating too, you're stealing the time, effort, and psychic energy you would spend family away from them. If you're chasing the intensity, when do you stop to feed the bird you have in your hand? If you don't, it's either going to die or fly away. To jump to another metaphor, you'll lose the cake you have in your hand because you're constantly focused on the cake in your mouth (or vice vera). That high is like being a drug addict and we all know how well that turns out for folks. -I hope you can make this work for everyone involved. best of luck to you.
