Odor and Curry

If you have read my blog you know I am a huge sports fan. I've been a little sad since the Stars lost and with the Mavs sucking lately it has been a slow time the past few years.

While baseball is my favorite sport, it normally takes a couple of months for me to get fully vested in the season but Odor fixed that this past Sunday. While it may not have been the best and smartest thing to do, that punch to Bautista was incredible to watch. No matter what anybody says you can't sucker punch someone looking straight at you getting ready to throw his own punch. Bautista is very lucky that Beltre pulled him away or it would have been way worse for him.

Watching this first half of OKC and Golden State has been very entertaining. Curry and the Warriors are the only team that can make basketball almost as good as Stanley Cup playoff hockey.

 Odor decided instead of posturing, to get the first punch in. Note how he jerked Bautista's face sideways but did NOT incapacitate Bautista. That Odor was quick with his first punch doesn't mean he'd be in any kind of shape to keep going after Bautista would have landed one on Odor. Hard to tell who would win after just one shot unless that one is the KO.

Maybe Odor needs to take lessons from Calvin Murphy, if you remember him.

The last few minutes of game 7, Blues beating the Blackhawks: With the Hawks spending all their time in front of the Blues goal in a frenzy, you can see why, even in that loss, they'd been champs so often of late.
