Seek the pot at the end of the rainbow,
and you shall find sweet contentment at last,
for it is the journey that makes the sum,
not the incidents along the way,
that tear the foundation of love,
for it can be made new and bright.
It is the power of emotion,
the witness of action which make love grow,
be better than before.
We can let it crumble be made of no avail nor use,
but in the end when all is said and done,
it comes down choice,
do we carry on or fall down as though dead,
try love no more.
The choice is hard the benefits great,
more rewarding than having all the gold be had in the world.
Enjoy the journey that love so eloquently requires,
for along the way towards the blessed goal,
there shall be disappointments and failures,
but many glorious triumphs too.
Every step forward is a step towards final victory and contentment,
every pratfall and stumble a new chance to live and learn,
a golden opportunity to grow.
For into every life some rain must fall,
but in the end the glorious glow of sweet immortal love shall have been gained.
