It's a white trash world.... And it call be all summed up in one photo.  I came home from work today hoping that the handyman was able to put my bathroom back together while I was at work. We all know I'm not feeling 100% and the last thing I want to do is spend another night looking at the half-assed unskilled attempt at updating my bathroom that's been happening. I didn't think it could look worse.... Yet, knowing this is the FINISHED outcome of his handiwork is way worse than I could have ever imagined. Is this for real? What the fuck is that?? A piece of wall trim??? I have oficially experienced the Walmart version of carpentry. My eyes hurt from looking at this. Did you happen to notice it's sitting on a tilt??   |

I was looking at your post and as I made it to the pics with the tape measure...."holy horseshit" slipped out before I even thought about it. WTH???? What was the (obviously NOT) handyman trying to accomplish?

Men can be lazy fucks. Hope to God you didn't have to pay for that. Only thing worse than a lazy man is paying a lazy man. I'm sorry, but I work too hard to have someone waste my money. Only person that gets to do that shit is me. Well trim on a bathroom floor hurts my own eyes to even look at it.

You need to teach your handy man how to shim the cabinet so that it is level or scribe the cabinet or a filler to make it look professional. Should be able to find any of that on the u tube.

In fact, does the door nest to the wall open nicely. If not then the cabinet needs to slide away from the wall and a filler used.

Is that a piece of baseboard on the floor at the very bottom? That looks like crap! I wouldn't mention you checked his work with a tape measure, I doubt he knows what one is!

goodness gracious...the trip on the floor is unacceptable...they could not find the close match of the tile??? i know it is hard to match the tile, if they don't have extra on hand, but at least they could have find a close match, and cut it fit??? damn...and the cabinet doors look like they are not straight...maybe this is due to the whole cabinet is not level??? oh i wanna so put my level on that... i did my bathroom remodeled myself, it wasn't easy, it took a week or more, but it is pretty much to my liking now...suppose it is your apartment huh? Thank God... I've been complaining nonstop to the apartment manager. This all started simply because I wanted my bathroom faucet fixed. The next thing I know, I'm getting a new vanity, mirror, and light fixture. I want my old crap back.

that's terrible hopefully, he left you the toilet paper just sayin' Phish - "Twenty Years Later" I can hold my breath for a minute or so Five days without food is as long as i'll go I didn't sleep once for four days and three nights I once didn't stop for seven red lights I jumped into water that's fifty degrees I've rowed in a kayak in thirty foot seas I've stayed in the woods for a week with a knife A flint, when i lost it, nearly cost me my life Twenty years later, i'm still upside down It's a small world, but it's turning real fast (we're upside down) It's a new day, and the morning has passed (turned upside down) It's a short road, but the mountains aren't tall (lived upside down) It's a small world, but we all start out small

I’m sorry for your loss... my bathroom is my sanctuary. I doubt that handyman would have made it out of mine alive. Lol.... ummmm no!!!! I wouldn’t hand over a penny till it was done to what I specifically asked for agreed to and actually wanted. Learned that the hard way getting our first home built. Whatta freakin headache. Make him re-do and call BBB. Might save others from the heartache that way too. Again... my condolences.
