Like broken glass

Open my eyes the truth
feel the truth about life
am I destined fade away
into the night
into the darkness
Can you help open
the door reality
where life begins again
is reality a dream a shadow
I hide behind the
shielded by the pain of life
I hide away in shadows
behind closed doors
in the darkness
I stand behind you
afraid show
pain grips in its arms
I am paralyzed with fear
I am an infant
The birth of reality
spilling into my conscious mind
I drop into life
I slip through the tunnel
pushed into a life
Like broken glass
I am shattered into a million pieces
unfixable swept up thrown away
a wasted life
Like an infant born into a toilet
from a mother not even knowing
she was<b> pregnant
</font></b>I pollute my infant
with what I pump into my veins
what I inhale into my lungs
I crawl from the shadows
to see if it is safe to even
show the world
I hide in a sealed box
away in some closet
I curl up in my tiny little space
afraid of life
unable live
