It is a common complaint of women in their 40's or 50's. Men just want a hole to fuck and do not care about you. You have to be super gorgeous or substantially younger for a man to be interested in you. From the female perspective, I can understand the viewpoint. However, have you stopped to think about from the man's perspective.

My thesis is a life without intimacy sucks for both men and women. Moreover, just because we have sex does not give you claim over my life or allow me to make demands on your life. We are meeting each other desires and for me, at least, that is enough.

When I was younger, I was focused on raising my stepson and providing for my family. As I have grown older and have undergone a divorce, I still crave intimacy but I have no desire to be with someone 24 hours a day. If someone is looking for a commitment before sex or that special someone, I keep walking.

I wonder sometimes how many people set themselves up for liars and fakes by making so many demands. If I wanted to catfish someone, I would look for words like picky or just want someone I can trust. Much easier to say what people want to hear rather than the truth.

On the other hand, I have no patience for people who are disrespectful. This includes calling the other gender stupid or selfish. As soon as I see those words, my estimation of you just went down, male or female. I do demand respect from others and try to return that respect. As an aside, does respect lead to repeat encounters and friendly relations with former partners? I sure think it does.

I live in the real world and the internet is fantasy. When I meet you in person, it is because I am interested in physical intimacy or if you wish to be crude, fucking. If your desire is different, please pass me by and respect that our wants are different. And, oh by the way, just because we do not have sex does not stop us from being friends. Now, that would really be finding an Adult Friend.
