Maybe a missed opportunity.

On a recent Friday afternoon I had the opportunity to attend a comic movie with a grandchild. As we checked into a reserved seat theater I noticed that the seats reserved next to us had only three people in the row. I didn't think any more about it at the time.
I stumbled as we started up the steps toward our seats because my old eyes do not adjust to the dark as well as they should anymore. As we found our seats, no one had taken custody of the ones next to us. I decided to take the one next to the 3 empty seats.
Then a younger woman with two came to our row and proceeded to sit next to me, with the on the other side of her. Of course, I was close to her, so unintentionally, I overheard some of her conversation with the . I was thinking of striking up a conversation with her, but didn't... She proceeded to comment to the that they were lucky that their parents would take them to so many movies. This indicated to me that she was not their mother. Should I have commented? Maybe...
When the previews started I was able to sneak a better look at her, she was very attractive, a little young relative to me, but...
I was not able to determine if she had a marriage band or not.
The seats were the new stadium recliners. We were all reclining as the movie started. A few minutes later I noticed that she was laying back and sound asleep.
I never did have a conversation with her, other than exchanging quick smiles.
Now, I fantasize that this could have went very differently. Should I have chatted with her, somehow breaking the ice early? Would I have been able to reach her hand when it turned dark again in the theater to check for a<b> wedding </font></b>band? Would that have been any indicator in any manner? Would she have squeezed my hand back in a positive manner? Could this have gone farther, maybe a brush of her breast or even more? Eventually, a hand between the thighs? Trading contact information?
However, my inability to be forward got in the way again.. I didn't get any satisfaction from this, only another fantasy to reflect on.
