I have mixed feelings about your blog I think what you shared is special, but a picture of your child posted here really shouldn't be.

My Dad always said, " You won't know about kids until u have kids of ur own!" He was so right, God bless him, the instant my son was born I understood that statement! We all say, "Damn, they were just two yesterday!" The secret is, grow with them, u can't stop time, when they ask a question, answer with a question, teach them to think, when they fail say "Great job, maybe next time take the lid off!" LOL! God Bless, and Good Luck! The grand kids is what makes it all so nice!

Blackadder: Baldrick, don't you know what irony is? Baldrick: Yes, it's like goldy and bronzey except it's made of iron. I do like a good pun too, the English language can be rather interesting at times. Just something about Flat Earthers while I remember, they have members all around the globe - it says so on their own website!

The amazing feeling to have a child and the when they grow up and move away is the saddest time of a parents life. If their life becomes happy and the to become parents we can be happy all over again for the grandchildren we now have. This life is amazing and sad all rolled up into our children if that makes any sense . I am 75 almost 76 and have had my ups and downs in life but i always think of and worry about my kids even though their in their 40's . Love be happy enjoy them . You have a beautiful Daughter and your just as Beautiful. Enjoy your family and your life to the fullest if at all possible.. Hugs and Kisses to you all.

I often wonder how many English teachers are using Morissette's song, to teach the proper use of the term. I enjoyed your puns, and the definition of Irony, especially. Why don't you have more watchers? It's a total mystery to me. I think your blog (and you) is/are a GEM. Check out my profile or and become a "watcher" of my blog FMAOPLS,to learn more about me, and for intelligent, lively, smartassy and fun discussion, with a little irreverence thrown in. "Like" or comment on my photos, and I promise I'll add more. Thanks.

I love puns too. And I was so bummed when I learned that my favorite pun, peccavi, is probably apocryphal. Dunno if you know the story, but I love the idea of a multilingual, multicultural pun. Too bad it’s not actually true. https://www.historyextra.com/period/sir-charles-napiers-sin/

Hi GratefulGirl69. thanks for sharing these precious moments. when my kids were younger, I daughter wanted to be included in all of the outings with her two older brothers... which meant, she had to put up her tent, sleep in a sleeping bag, and hook her own fish... the first time we went fishing, I took pictures of her crying while she was baiting the hook...but, she did it... when she turned sixteen I started grounding her for four hours out of each month... because she was so busy with her phone, her car, her friends... I never got to see her... the first time was miserable as she had to spend that time with her dad, sans phone or car... she got to pick the activity... she knew I hated shopping for clothes... and, that's where we went... It was horrible at first, but, then we ended up eating hamburgers at one of her hangouts, and it only got better after that... we went to concerts, sushi restaurants, movies, all kinds of fun things... now, she takes me to movies, new places, her comedy acts, and I get to bond with my grandson... if you invest the time it is possible to reap the benefits... just sayin'... you know how you can tell an crocodile from an alligator? by the way you say goodbye to them... "After awhile..." or "See you later" made me think of this one... Ambrosia - "Time Waits for No One" Hurry up, get along, be on your way And make sure that your certain It's not the wrong day Punctual people are lost in their plight To become unprecedented when they arrive Why am I searching and when will I know? Are the years that I've waited with nothing to show? I'm ready to listen I'm ready to win But I can't wait much longer before we begin Time waits for no-one Time waits for no-one no-one, no-one There's time to conceive in and time to expire Though the time 'twixt the two tells the tale that transpires so why must we continually disturb the universe With decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse So people… To leave private messages, please use my confidential mailbox at my blog: Good luck!!!
