Site issues

What's with IM on here? I've never been able to send more than two or three texts before it stops responding. I've heard many others complain about the same issue so I know it's not just because I'm a standard member. AAF has taken away enough privileges over the years you'd think IM could at least work without issues.

 Totally agree, IM is becoming totally annoying as is private msgs, get sent a msg and can't read it or past msgs now cant be read.

Yes! In the past, I could read and respond to any message sent to me. Now I can not read any email sent to me unless it's a VIP. Then, and only then, can I read and respond.

 The IM here has been horrible since I can remember. I've been here off and on for years. Friend Finder Network has no incentive to fix it. Let's face it sex sells and they're not going to do anything to fix it. Also I could be an infrastructure issue. So many issues software and network wise could make it difficult too. But in short they'll probably never fix it because they're still making money and have no incentive.

 If u clear your browser before logging in it helps . It works for me . I got that tip last year from customer service. I use Google chrome browser.

 The IM has never worked right in the almost 8 years I've been on here, which is why I don't or won't use it.

But on the other hand, with what your saying, realize, there is no free lunch !!!

 why are you using a cell phone on IM anyways?....your better off using 2 cans and a long string. and no..you do NOT have to be a paying member. It sucks for everyone...Gold or regulars.

 Nothing gets fixed or not for long. Nothing can be done about that. BUT you could pay so you would be able to view profiles and write. That or find another site that works better and doesn't want to make money. After all not all businesses want to make money.

Oh, I completely understand there's no free lunch. I'd be more bothered if I was spending my hard earned money on a site that can't offer reliable IM. At least that's my opinion.

I log in often from my phone through a browser, but I try to IM through my laptop. It seems the method to get there doesn't affect the success rate. I've never used the app, though I'm not surprised that it's not vey good either.
