Reflection on the week

I was on vacation this week, so I was online more than usual. I’ve had great conversations with a bunch of people. I do try to chat with anyone that IMs me. Kinda find it rude not to.
Of course I chatted with of my regular peeps.

The new ones, most under 40. This is where my problem begins.... I have an ageism. My ideal 44-50. I’ve had awesome conversations. These guys are great!! Why on earth they chatted with me is for a different blog. So why the hang up. Not quite sure. Works the same way for the older gentleman. Generally age 57 and beyond gives me the issue. Even with chat.

I did have some people I disappointed this week. I’m sorry. I’m not ready to meet in person (actually may never happen). Or talk on the phone. Just talking about those two activities causes my stomach to tighten, I start to have a panic attack. Rapid breathing. Anxiety. I get this response and I know full well I’m not gonna call or meet. It actually got bad that I started to cry. Yup cried and wasn’t gonna do it.

To those I’ve chatter with thank you. And those I let down. I’m sorry but I tried to let you know my stance. I wish everyone the best. Stay safe and have fun.

 Like2chat, I would have chattered with you but I been having too watch my cooking on the house stove as it needs too be watched too not cause a big mess. Maple syrup would be the mess I would have too clean up not fun if I had too do that.

 Funny...I don't chat, that stresses me out. I type too much, and they get ahead of me...and ohmy, then I've lost my train of thought, lol. And definitely no phone calls unless I feel I know them well enough. I can't do that "call me so I can hear you orgasm" thing.

 Simple chat is so much fun. I have met a few fascinating people. I did say "few" on purpose, when you thresh the wheat most of what you find is chaff. Chatting allows you to expand your horizons in a safe and secure way. I feel the same about meeting.
