 Here of late there's been all kinds of problems, from logging in, to viewing pictures. But strangely enough I've met more people, and have had more interesting chats than usually. Not really looking for anything but to be able to log in, view pictures and chat. Keeping it simple, and expectations low, it works.

 Don't pay myself and never will. Male members who write me pay extra for standard members to be able to read the messages and be able to answer. Not that a single one I would want to meet. They all ignore what I want / have in my profile. You might know the kind of people. They think they are special. Anyway I wouldn't be able to read their profiles but not needed in most cases not interested. Most times don't even need to read the message. Age shows as does the first dozen or so words. Also if the picture is of a dick showing me he has what I know what he was born with. Why pay for mail ?

 Truthfully while the technological problems with the site are many and varied for me, at least as a single guy, are while annoying, the least of the problems with the site.

Basically, the site just doesn't work in that it fails at being able to make it possible for me to be able to have any kind of interaction with people, mostly those of the female type, who are interested in me and who I am interested in.

So much of the problem is the second hurdle, can you really meet this person who is so amazing without having to make some epic journey?

I made the same choice you are considering when I had let my premium membership lapse and they offered me the chance to get it back for a year for the cost of a Starbucks a month. I don't regret that I said Ok, but offered the same deal again I doubt that I would accept it.

Now you being a younger and much more attractive man than I might have a different experience. But in the end, it is not about the service, and really you will have better outcomes from living an active life open to possibilities than you would ever get from this site.

That's the irony, isn't it? Most service providers, of any kind, provide not-very-good service, these ... being very polite. I wouldn't really expect better, but it is good to know.

I would say I'm having kind of a similar experience. I was having so much fun,I actually forgot about the site for a couple of years. But, since I've been back, I've actually got some friends, and have some conversations. I don't know if making a couple of blog posts changed traffic patterns, or what.

Not to be too much of an ass, but you are the target demographic on here, so it probably should be less likely for you to need to pay, unless you want to cam, etc. Yeah, I understand from some of the chats I've had lately that too many guys just sort of trundle out the same-old schtick with everyone, and don't actually pay attention to what the other party is looking for. And then there is the not-small-enough percentage of guys actually behave in (we'll be nice and say) inconsiderate ways when meeting in real life.

Being a guy, I don't have to deal with women who act that way, and have had some nice chats. But, all with women some distance away. Hmm ... is that the way the site operates?

This is the concern. You might be able to interact on the site, but I've seen discussions about whether people are actually willing to meet up. And, results don't appear to be the most positive.

Maybe it's be good, one-and-done style, for a bit of lark. If I get something out it, great, if not, then not too much harm done. I've also been considering a more engaged approach to something a lot more mainstream. You might be right; maybe more possibilities ..
