Sometimes, you just have to laugh and chalk it up to 'experience'. At least it gave you material to use for your blog

Stimulate my mind and the possibilities are endless.

Oh my God..That was at the very least a memorable blind date that makes a funny story or memory and reminds us never to let anyone set us up with their friends.......lol. I had a blind date my two brothers set up for me when I moved out West..We ended up dating for 4 months, so not all blind dates are nightmares like yours was....lol.

One can never have enough JOY in their life...

I think ‘belongs to a book club to make her feel like she reads’ would have been the point where I realized things weren’t going anywhere and I was just going to have to ride out the rest of the date... you were actually saved by her stomach problems...

I think Veronica sounds perfect for FrankieZee.

When people ask me how my husband died, I often say it was from discovering that menopause and puberty would hit his house at the same time. Repeatedly telling the real details is hard at times. "Hit by a Budweiser truck" sounds like something I'd come up with if my husband died from drinking.

Around here, my odds are good but the goods are odd

Oh, my dear Paul, I can beat your blind date! 🤣🤣 I MARRIED my blind date! In hindsight I'd rather have had explosive diarrhea for 10 years INSTEAD of the 10 years of marriage 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lesson learned Paul, our friends and family are seldom good at picking out people for us to date. I never ever go on blind dates any more. Poor lady must have been mortified with her rush to the washroom.

It would be a book. LOL I think my favorite was the date where the guys car was so loud you couldn't have a conversation. It was an hour to get to the restaurant... an AWFULLY long hour. If that wasn't bad enough, he couldn't drive over 50 mph because there was something wrong with his suspension.

Oh you poor dear man. But love that you enjoyed the positive side of it. You and the cabbie still see one another? LOL

I actually wanted to comment on your Blog earlier Paul, but a huge storm hit as the power was switched off, yep, we're having load shedding yet again - really frustating!

Anyway, you really do get yourself into, exciting, or should that be unusual situations, but keeps life interesting doesn't it?! I once made an appt for x-rays and also said "this" Fri and a time, 3:15pm - I get there and they say there is no appointment that day but it's for the following, "next" Fri, and get this, they give me the date and they have that wrong cos the date, the 15th they said, would have been the following Monday! Yep, and I only figured that out afterwards of course!
